Unusual Love: A Collect

God of Unusual Love,

Who has loved the rich and poor,

The powerful and the weak,

The sinner and the saint,

The Jew and the Gentile,

The slave and the free,

The male and the female,

I pray that your unusual love or, better yet,

You, as Unusual Love,

Would ever make your dwelling at home

Deep in my heart-mind

That I, too, may love unusually,

And walk holy.
