“You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.” -Psalm 90:8
One lifetime is less than a blink of Your eye, Yahweh. One sigh from Your lips spans every human civilization. Yet You have placed our every attempt to do life autonomously apart from You in Your very presence. Every secret grasping for personal safety is always there - and yet - You created us anyway, and Yet You created with the cross before You, before all worlds were born, You chose suffering on our behalf, and taught us to suffer well, and gave our suffering meaning. Let us learn to suffer well and establish the work of our hands until Your work is complete, and all sin fades, and death draws its final breath. Amen.
