Praying with Psalm 89

“For the glory of their strength You are, and in Your favor our horn is exalted.” -Psalm 89:17

Is my strength Your glory Lord? Is there any of Your strength that leaves any impression of who You are for those around me? Should I not be a sign of Your salvation? Lord I am weak and poor, stranded and completely dependent on others for survival, and they have let me down time and time again. Is this Your wrath that all I know is survival? How long til Your saving glory is reflected in me once more? Lord let me raise honor and praise for Your favor once more, let me raise my horn and shout Your praise. Even if I remain poor, weak, stranded, even so - blessed be Yahweh, blessed be Your name, now and forever. Amen.
