Praying with Psalm 84

“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, and whose heart is set on pilgrimage.” -Psalm 84:5 I cannot take one step towards Your holy presence without Your strength. My heart would rather sleep, or rather feed on instant gratification than take the inner journey to You. Creator of all hearts, be the Lord of mine, be the author of my desire, write a holy pilgrimage on this fickle heart till it becomes too restless to settle for anything less than finding my way into your house. Let all that I am be on its way to worship You from morning to evening, spring, summer, fall and winter. Let my heart find Your threshold and enter with thanksgiving forever and ever. Amen.
