Praying with Psalm 81

“And He would have fed them with the finest of wheat, and from the rock with honey I would have satisfied you.” -Psalm 81:16 O Lord, You desire my good, more than I desire it too. O God, You love the ones I love, more than I could ever do. So here I break every idol, in the name of Jesus Christ, Let me feast at Your table, Lord be my appetite. Let our songs of desire, thirst after You. Open our hearts wide and fill them with heavenly food. Let this amen, shape our attitudes,

And with every groaning hunger,

May Your treasure we seek and plunder,

For the joy of the King. Amen.
