Praying with Psalm 80

“Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.” -Psalm 80:18 Give us life, and we will speak Your name.

Give us feet and we will dance in Your name. Give us a home and we will dwell with You. Father to the fatherless, You place the orphan in family, give us life, revive us so that we might become Your kingdom-family. Stop our wandering hearts, revive our lungs with Your holy alo-ha, Your divine-breath, and we will call on You. Answer our loneliness, fill our longing, bring us back to life! Heal our hearts and we will wait on You and call Your name with eternity echoing within. Amen.
