Praying with Psalm 72

“From oppression and violence He will redeem their life, and their blood shall be precious in His sight.” -Psalm 72:14

Father God, You are our Kinsman-Redeemer, and You treasure the hurting, the abused, the oppressed, the poor, the raped, the molested, the beat and battered You have called Your sons and daughters. You restore the shamed to honor, and You heal the broken hearted. By Your blood You have made us precious, gave us dignity where there was none. You have done it before, Lord please do it again and again and again! Father God, You are our Kinsman-Redeemer, and You treasure the hurting.

So let it be. Amen.
