Praying with Psalm 66

“For You have tested us God, You have refined us as refined silver.” -Psalm 66:10 I love You Lord, for You would not let me grow fruit on my sapling limbs before they were strong enough, for You would not rescue half of me, and You would not impart the fullness of Your victory without also growing me up. I love You God for Your love is a holy fire, burning every false part of me, consuming every fear and anxiety down to the rooted lies I have foolishly believed. I love You Jesus, for You have opened a door to Your crucible, loving me in Your heat until my life reflects Your life. I love You Holy Spirit for chasing me, pursuing me in my fear, guiding me back to the Father, through the Son, always refining me for that perfect union. I love You Lord, for You have loved the badness right out of me. Please love me more, until I am wholly free. Amen.
