Praying with Psalm 62

“Trust in Him at all times, you people, pour out before Him your heart. God is a refuge for us. Selah.” -Psalm 62:8 Let not this longing be wearied, let not my desire go astray. Bring me to the guts of me, let no leaves keep me hidden. Father I trust in You, help my untrust. I am not worthy to love as You would have me love, nor care as You would have me care. Let Your grace flow that I might be a grace, let Your love flow that I might love. You are my safety, I unburden the impossible in Your presence, clothe me in Christ that all goodness, truth, and beauty may be possible in me so that I may love Your beloved more. Ignite my longing, I lay my heart before You, all my desire is Yours. Let no true desire turn to dust, but let Your kingdom come a little more today in our hearts and minds than yesterday. Amen.
