Praying with Psalm 60

“For useless is the help of man.” -Psalm 60:11 Lord God, You have rejected my salvation - reject it again and again. If I run for the sake of my own safety, tear down the walls of the sinful ruins that I have used to hide me. I have grasped the reigns of my life as though my heart were a bridled mare, but only You can break the heart and lead it beside still waters. Only You can save. Only with You can all fear and anxiety be faced and pressed through to the destruction of their highest ranks. Lord God, reject my useless self help, be my salvation again! Amen.
