Praying with Psalm 45

“God, forever and ever a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom." -Psalm 45:6 Lord, I want to be powerful, to move mountains, to leave this world better than I found it; but I can barely leave my phone alone for more than ten minutes. The sign of Your power is a right relationship, from Your eternal dance Your kingdom comes in the form of a right relationship. The earth created, mountains placed, ravines carved through right relationship. Father, Son, and Spirit, You are the Living Scepter of righteousness. You are the vine, we the branch, apart from a right relationship with You, we can move nothing. Lord forgive me when I cling to another, help me cling to You, always. Amen.
