Praying with Psalm 34

“That he may see good." -Psalm 34:12 What is my life but to see Your goodness? What are my plans, what are my goals without Your good? What long life is worth one millisecond without Your goodness? I have no good apart from You. All my years lack goodness without You. You deliver me out of afflictions, not from them,

So that even the afflictions can be transformed into good. My years are in Your hand, so let me see long years

So that I might see Your goodness,

Or take my life tonight before any affliction becomes meaningless. Your goodness is the deeper meaning to all meaning, like a rich banquet full from table’s end to table’s end Your goodness is there,

Even in the midst of affliction. Amen.
