Praying with Psalm 127

“Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain.” -Psalm 127:1

If I rise early and labor to meet You Lord, will You be there? If I devote myself to study and devotion, will I find You there? If I pray a hundred times in the day, and more at night, will I hear You? Am I building a temple within of vain vapor? Have I created a spiritual life that You must fit into or have I left my doors open for You to enter day and night? Adonai, You are my true rest, let me not turn to another. Let not a single stone be moved nor prayer be raised without You. Let every building of thought and reason within me be Your creation. Tear down all my false cities, let Your kingdom come in all of me. Amen.
