Praying with Psalm 125

“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, Yahweh surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.” -Psalm 125:2

How can I think a thought without You? How can I imagine a scenario without a care for Your voice within me? You surround me day and night yet let me surround myself with my little reasonings. Yahweh surround my heart-mind like the mountains surround Jerusalem. Teach me to think after Your thoughts, guard me from the whispered words of my enemy who have learned to imitate the sound of my voice all too well. Shred the vocal cords of my enemy, surround me O Lord, Lord of my heart and mind. Amen.
