Praying with Psalm 124

“The snare is broken.” -Psalm 124:7

Lord have mercy, the snare is broken, yet so are we. Death’s trap has been destroyed but we feel trapped by trauma, chained by coping mechanisms, locked down by compulsions and caged by addiction. Fear and anxiety have cuffed our hearts at the ankles. The fear of not being good enough has tied our true heart’s desire behind our backs. Christ have mercy, the snare is broken, please break it again! Amen.
