Praying with Psalm 119: Waw ו

“Also let Your mercies come to me, Yahweh, Your salvation according to Your word.” -Psalm 119:41

Yahweh, Adonai, what defense have I but Your unwavering love for me? What hope of salvation apart from Your mercy can there be? How can I delight in You if You have not delighted in me first? How can I be faithful to obey Your word if You had not first been faithful to pursue my good all the days of my life? So let Your love and mercy come like winter rain, wash over me and bring me to new life, and nourish and strengthen me to think every thought after Your thoughts. Amen.
