Praying with Psalm 119: Nun נ

“My life is in my hand continually, and yet Your law I do not forget.”

-Psalm 119:109

Lord God my hands are weak. What can they hold onto forever? My life will surely pass away as my grip can be loosened every moment I set one foot in front of the other. But You are eternal, and eternally good. If my meditation were not already weaker than my hands I would not ask that I be found in Your hands forever. Let me never forget Your ways, let me never forget that while I have eternal need of You, You are eternally satisfying, a spring with no end, an ocean with fathomless depth, You are eternal life, and apart from You I can do nothing. Amen.
