Praying with Psalm 119: Mem מ

“I have more understanding than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation.”

-Psalm 119:99

How could it be that I could surpass my teachers? To sit with Your witness, to ponder Your story does more than offer information about You, but opens doors of intimacy with You. How can I understand more if I do not know Your story, if I do not know You? To know You is to be changed by You, and to be changed by You is to to see Your story revealed in me day by day, and to see Your story revealed in me is to see Your glory. So Lord let me know more than my teachers not for my own knowledge, but that Your glory may transform me and be revealed in me by the story You are telling. Amen.
