Praying with Psalm 119: Kaph כ

Updated: Mar 23, 2022

“My soul faints, yearns, longs, and is diminished in yearning for Your salvation; but I hope in Your word.” With out You Lord there is nothing. Without You Adonai, I am nothing. I am brought low, less than I ought to be without Your hand holding me in rescue. Is this waiting Your discipline? Or is there some lesson by which Your salvation will come that I might be restored and grow again? Let me trust in Your word, for You are the God who comes through. In the silence, in the heartache, in the loss, in the hope of restoration after years of waiting You are the God of my salvation. So how long? At least give me this day’s portion of Bread and Wine, for now and forever, give me Jesus. Amen.
