Praying with Psalm 119: Aleph א

“Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, and who seek Him with a whole heart.” -Psalm 119:2

How can I be a witness if any part of my heart is closed off to You? How can I bear the name of Adonai if my whole heart is not under Your lordship? How can I keep and cling to Your redemption stories if my heart is fractured and splintered - a shard to this god, a piece for that god? How can I seek with out my whole heart aimed at You? Can a ship withstand two rudders? Can a car be in reverse and drive simultaneously and move at all? Let my heart be pure Lord, single-mindedly about chasing You just that I may know You and be made one with Your heart. Amen.
