Praying with Psalm 118

“Severely YAH has chastened me; but He has not given me over to death.”

-Psalm 118:18

Surely there are no dead in Christ. You would have me live, that more of Your glory may fill the earth, and more of Your kingdom may come - here and now. If Your steadfast love and mercy endure forever, may they flow in me and through me. Open my mouth, fill my lungs, give me words to speak, prayers to write, praise to sing, and Your story to tell again and again. This is Your doing, You have done it, Lord God, do it again. Amen.
