Praying with Psalm 116

“What shall I render to Yahweh for all His benefits toward me?” -Psalm 116:2

If I gave You a song, it would be the song You have been singing over me. If I gave You a poem, it would be the poetry You have created in me. If I consecrated my eyes to You, O Lord, it would be the vision You gave me. If I gave You my money, it would have been earned by the body You gave me. If I gave You my heart, mind, spirit, soul and body - all of these You gave to me. What can I give but my whole self in imperfect surrender to You? Lord help me to learn perfect surrender. Amen.
