Praying with Psalm 114

“…who turned the rock into a pool of water.” -Psalm 114:8 What mountain could stand before the face of Yahweh? Everest bows low, Mauna Kea becomes a sea bed in Your presence. You give us water where there was only dry rock, and the oceans clear a path for You. How small are the obstacles of man, how invisible like a virus without a microscope? Yet You know each and every one, every disordered cell in every body, every sickness, every heartache, every wound and every agreement we have made with Your enemy. You have turned rocks into water, and water into wine. Do it again Lord, and turn dry bones into living flesh, and broken hearts into living springs. Amen.
