Praying with Psalm 107

“For He satisfies the longing soul, and He fills the hungry soul with goodness.” -Psalm 107:9 I am a wanderer. From community to community, desert to desert, I have moved and keep on moving. How can a tree grow if it is potted over and over? How can its roots grow strong if it is not deeply settled down in the soil? My soul longs and thirsts for deep goodness, Lord You have promised this, but I need the soil to break, soften and give space for this tree to be planted by still waters. Lord hear this longing, see my endless hunger, let me see Your goodness in the land of the living, let it be this year, Lord show me Your glory. Amen.
