Praying with Psalm 1

“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.” -Psalm 1:1 Adonai as I walk bless me with Your counsel. However You choose to speak, speak, but open my ears that I might hear You in every song, every story, every word from a stranger or a friend. Let me see You in every rock and tree, drop of ocean, step of mountain, all beauty, and all suffering. The constant counsel of my thoughts are always speaking without You, the fleshly mind ready to give ungodly counsel day and night. Let not my coming and going, my walking here and there be subject to this tyrant within. Overthrow the imposter, usurp the usurper, destroy the poser and rescue the true me that I may be like a tree planted by still waters. Amen.
