Name-Changer: A Collect

O God the Name-Changer,

Who changed Jacob’s name to Israel and promises to give a new name to all who overcome on account of Jesus Christ,

I ask that you enliven and embolden the Spirit in me

So that I, as your child and ambassador, may overcome and lay hold of that promise.

By the power of the Spirit and in the name of Jesus, I pray.
