Great Stirrer-Upper: A Collect

O God, Great Stirrer-Upper,

Who unlocked the windows of Heaven,

Who unplugged the founts of the deep,

Who stirred the wind between Joppa and Nineveh,

Who raised Jesus from the realms of death,

I pray that you would wake me and awake in me,

Stir me up, O Great Stirrer-Upper,

That I might join you in waking others from slumber

And wipe their eyes to see you at life's daybreak.
