Endless Giver: A Collect

O Father, Endless Giver,

Who gave us the earth to roam and explore

To shepherd and steward

To feed from and learn from and lean on,

I have learned the truth that your joy

Comes from giving, endless giving,

Gifts which you rain on the just and unjust alike,

Gifts made most clear in the life of Jesus

And the indwelling of the Spirit.

I pray that you would keep giving, Endless Giver,

That the world might know you and, in return,

Give themselves to you.

For just as you have great joy in giving,

We do, too, especially as we give ourselves.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
