Custodian of My Soul: A Plea

God, my soul is mucked up. Dirty. Grimey. Filthy. It's like a clogged gutter, backed up, jammed up, and in desperate need of cleaning. But you, O God, are the Custodian of my Soul. You alone are able to make much of this mess. Only you can take this rubbish and bring forth renewal. So, Spirit, sweep my heart-mind to its very edges. Mop my interior clean. Make my spirit to shine anew. I cry out to you, although you are Creator God, you are also Custodian God, Janitor God, who cleans and protects my soul. Today, God, baptize me in your cleansing presence and oversee my soul. Amen.
