How can I approach you, O God?

How?

Shall I approach you as...

A sinner?

A saint?

A child?

A disciple?

A beggar?

A wretch?

A dog?

A prodigal?

A patient?

A friend?

How can I approach you, O God?

How?

Today, I will approach you as the one who approached me first.

Today, I will approach you Lord Jesus,

Today, I will approach you O Spirit,

as one humbled by the fact that you are interceding for me.

Today, that is my hope.

Today, I rest in the fact that you, O God, pray for me even when I don't know how.

Today, then, I shall approach you and that's how.
